Flight Deck Activity during Extravehicular Activity

Steven A. Hawley, who spent many hours aboard the Space Shuttle Discovery controlling the Shuttle's Remote Manipulator System (RMS), watches the extravehicular activity (EVA) of a two-man spacewalking team from Discovery's aft flight deck. Hawley had flown on the 1990 mission that was responsible for deploying the Hubble Space Telescope.
