Pool Boiling Experiment (PBE)

Liquid heated to boiling point in 1-g, generating vapor bubbles that rise. Right: Liquid heated to boiling point in microgravity, which occurs in the absence of natural convection or buoyant flows. Under these conditions, bubbles generated at the heater coalesce into a single large bubble.
