NASA Beams a Message to Voyager
On Sept. 5, 2017—the 40th anniversary of Voyager 1’s launch—NASA revealed the winning message to Voyager and beamed it into space. "Message to Voyager" was a social media campaign inspired by the messages of goodwill carried on the Golden Record aboard each Voyager spacecraft.

Voyager Captures Sounds of Interstellar Space
NASA's Voyager 1 spacecraft captured these sounds of interstellar space. Voyager 1's plasma wave instrument detected the vibrations of dense interstellar plasma, or ionized gas, from October to November 2012 and April to May 2013.
