Amendment 51: F.13 Lunar Terrain Vehicle Instruments Program Correction.

F.13 Lunar Terrain Vehicle Instruments (LTVI) program element solicits proposals for investigations that include development and flight of stand-alone, science-driven instruments substantially enabled by unpressurized mobility on the lunar surface. Payloads selected through this program element will be integrated onto the Lunar Terrain Vehicle (LTV) and then delivered with the LTV to the south polar region of the Moon (within 6o latitude of the South Pole) in advance of the Artemis V mission.

LTV Instruments must address one or more science objectives identified in the most recently released decadal survey or equivalent community document, as appropriate for each science discipline, and mapped to science objectives defined in the Moon to Mars Strategy and Objectives Development document.

On or about November 13, 2024: The budget phasing in Section 6 of F.13 Lunar Terrain Vehicle Instruments has been updated to reflect the previously updated maximum duration of award. New text is in bold. The due date remains unchanged: Step-2 proposals are due December 23, 2024.
