Amendment 69: DRAFT A.59 New or Modified GLOBE Protocols for Community Comment

When it is solicited, New or Modified GLOBE Protocols will seek proposals for new GLOBE measurement protocols or modification of existing protocols that align with and further GLOBE’s vision and mission. The emphases for the solicited work center around protocol development, including instrument development and testing in different GLOBE countries, data quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC), ingestion into and integration with GLOBE’s open database, integration with satellite calibration and validation (cal/val), algorithm, and other scientific workflow in order to make substantial use of the resultant data, fill in spatial and temporal Earth system observation gaps, training material development (in collaboration with the GLOBE Implementation Office (GIO)) to ensure fidelity of collected observation, learning and public engagement material development (in collaboration with GIO), human centered usability design development, etc.
