Rosalind was discovered by the Voyager 2 science team on 13 January 1986.
Overview
Little is known about Rosalind, one of several satellites discovered by Voyager 2 as it flew by Uranus in 1986. Rosalind is one of Uranus' inner moons and has a radius of about 22 miles (36 kilometers).
How Rosalind Got its Name
Originally designated S/1986 U4, Rosalind was named for the daughter of a banished Duke in Shakespeare's play "As You Like It."
